2005 Impala climate control malfunction

I am hoping this could be as simple as a fuse, but the temperature cluster in the dash has the driver's side control as non functioning. It allows cold air from the A/C to work, and I cannot adjust the temperature at all. Also the illuminating lamp is out.

Suggestions?

Possibly a bad motor for the driver side blend door? Unfort. I'm not sure how exactly the 04/05 digital ones work, just the 00-03 Vacuum ones. But the out Light for the slider is probably just a dead bulb.
