Now my Skyline's engine is ready for sales. I got the first production run, looking at the preview you'll see that it's done by more than forty white metal parts and a photo-etched sheet with a lot of interesting parts, like turbine's logos, turbo vents and details, stickers, a full metal intercooler and a racing radiator, clutch details, inlet and outlet gaskets and much much more for your fun. Engine is 1/24 and would be a great touch for any R32>33>34 street, tuned or racing Skyline, until the 2002 racing R34.

TK has options for a racing or sport engine, options like the water/oil pumps to leave without belt cover, and kind camcovers. Following I'll add a couple picts of a racing engine I'm building and eventually a shot of the photo etched and white metal parts.

Leave me to introduce my new creature :D, the first built one.

I thought to finally make me one like I ever dream, with few soldering job the photo etched inter-cooler switch out in a interesting replica in scale... I guess convincing, at least for me.

Obviously plus a lot of stuff like paper filters, and photo etched inter cooler and radiator to be folded.


Price is 35 eur plus shipping.
To try to achieve such decent price (considering the material's quality and the number of parts) I'll sell the TK under my own sale phylosophy "M2M" aka modeler to modeler, so, please, PM or mail me if you like to purchase.

Portiz: I leave your answer as reply to your question in my CP: just to be "transparent" and applying same condition to all members, following are my condition for Americans/South American friends (trying to help a bit with such low/absurd USD rates, and considering that many asked me 2 engines)

- shipped (no track, but I lost no one of 100+)
1 engine: 45 USD shipped (+- 10 USD disc.)
2 engines: 80 USD shipped (+- 25 USD disc.)

so I almost flattened euro/USD rates to 0..... I'm financial wizard :D LOL!

No worries. It needs a bit of fitting and cleanup, but the parts go together very nicely. I just hope having instructions make some sense of it all.

That's the most amazing scale engine I have ever seen. It tops the S2000 engine man, I wish I could get one.

TBH I felt fun the whole thing of do engines and PE parts but I think I would take a long break: I fill any free time doing that, not mention to pack and send kits... I miss modeling for myself and the income is not worth the efforts needed to develop stuff for others: well, all ok, I guess you all may see much more stuff shared, but nothing for sale :D :D :D

Sakatsu made the engine for the S2000 in white metal and a couple machined bits, too, I think. These were almost impossible to find five years ago, and I'd frankly be surprised if you could find any now. I was very lucky to get any at all.

It's also important to point out that they're not intended as a transkit, but a model by themselves. If you do get your hands on one, I'd suggest making a resin copy and grafting it onto the molded in transmission on the Tamiya kit, all that white metal is far too heavy for those poor plastic Tamiya A arms to hold up.

It can be done. The receiving model should be properly prepared but it will look terrific in the engine bay of any GT-R with the exception of the R-35.

I got mine a while ago and have to say its awesome. Its a little intimidating at first, but it will build up as a great motor in detail.

Hi, sorry for late reply, I'm over holidays and in full honesty I'm not used to browse the AF any day like I was in past.... too busy lately. Add that lately I'm lost in the aircraft modeling dark side so....

I have just a few of RB 26 TK's left, I would say I want like to sell just a couple of them so I would keep last few of them for me...

So: the answer is YES but I'll offer just a couple kits: sometimes someone ask but I didn't sold any of them lately.... so.... the first come... the first have...... :-)

PS: I must say I sold several of them, and I would like to thanks a lot for the support all the customer, but......... I never saw a single WIP with one of my engines, the porsche 356 engine TK neither. It is just a curiosity... and I must admit that I didn't finished any of my GTR builds, where it was supposed to display the engines and supports the sales.... so... if anyone has one on the desk.... please... just show me and make happy this aged guy :-)

You will definitely have no issues in selling more engine kits, the RB26 is the most detailed engine kit produced.

Well: inside AF I found some friends, I take part more or less actively, but I ever felt it comfortable: also now that I feel myself a bit "far".

Well, over days where I see a lot of people went joked and lost their money/orders I want to rend public a cool case: and I must say it is not the first time it happens.

One customer (I wouldn't rend public the nick since may be he would mind) in case of dubt sent me 10 eur more for his order sayng "in case I want it would enough for the shipping..." (more or less) and said me if they're much than needed to drink a beer since the job deserve ;).

This is to me the best satisfaction and the bigger motivation to keep up this activity that for me is everithing than business :D
