I'm still in the queue too.... Just have to keep waiting patiently.... I want to do a fully detailed Grp. A build, and this engine, with it's exposed cam covers etc is exactly what I need.....

This was the longer dammn trip a part done LOL!!!!! I'm glad at last parts come and more that you like 'em.
Guys: I have not engines left, I have to say I sold also my "strategic reserve".... dunno know if I need some for me since my "tastes" changed over time, BTW the situation is that I'm demotivated, frustrated and I'm pissed off with the services that casted me parts: I ever offered the quality I tought right for my own needs being a modeler: on the 911 TK I got decent (some time less. some other better) castings but not top notch like I was able to offer. Now my efforts are focused on replace the few parts someone asked me about the 911 TK, I stopped the production (no one shop has/offer it) until the few customers are waiting a replacement (they are few, a couple I guess, but they weight in my belly... I'm used to have super-happy customers) would be satisfacted, and then we'll see, I guess I have to search a new casting service.

I'm part of those waiting for a replacement part (the body itself, so can't avoid it) but I don't blame you in any way for that, many usuall and well know brands can't do better. Resin kits and transkits can bring some issues, not fair for maker but acceptable or buyer if the brand is serious to replace as you are.
So don't feel to much discouraged ! we are with you and will be pleased to find some other stuff and get it !! ;)

Yep, thanks Mike and all others pointed me on: they not only are unfair using my kit in their advertising but even they clear my comments on FB....
Not a problem, I got enough satisfaction with this kit and it if it is written that someone would clone it (they answered to Chris that they must modify it before the production... modify what??????) it would be OK... I'll survive :) at least it happens several years after the presentation.
Anyway, seeing that they have skills to do the stuff by themself, looks me stupid, unfair and at least the worst advertising possible to clone it from a small 1man factory firm.
good luck... now or then it would happen to you, luckily I haven't to sell jobs like this to live :), I done it just for sharing spirit and satisfaction.

Halo Gio, I'm Thomas from Eightyone. Sorry for any bad feelings. Chris asked me about the issue, and I answered that we will not release a clone version of your works. (Toemi, Greddy ...etc, focus on aftermarket version).

At the moment I sold my personal engines also, and I got troubles since the metal caster is those that made me all the mess with the 911 TK: I got dozen parts of some components and no one of each other.... and dozens of PE ready: in a wod a bloody mess.
Only consolation is that no one had paid in advance.
My intention was to re-tool with a better 3D printer (see my stratos topic) the whole engine and cast in resin: the fact than one other operator would do it only add motivation and chili pepper, I would like to see wich one would end better and at wich price: the fact that they have my engine in hand is not so fair but is understandable.
We'll see, I have other thoughts in head for now ;)
