Folks,
My front ( door ) speakers are blown. I bought some 6.5 " speakers. How do I get to the speakers to replace them. Do I need to take the door panel off? Can I get at them by removing the grill ( don't know if the grill is removal).
I will appreciate all advice. I don't want to F%#@ it up.
Thanks

If you look at the pictures that the link in my signature takes you to.....you will see pictures that show how to remove the inner door trim panel.......it is on my '96, but your 2000 should be close enough.
The "grill" is part of the door panel on my '96.
If you visit the Crutchfield site.....they will tell you what speakers will fit without having to do any modifications.
That is in their online catalog.
If you buy from them.....they send installation instructions for your particular vehicle....including how to remove the trim panels.
