99 tahoe power window problem

I bought a 99 tahoe 2wd 4 door all the windows work but the driver window only goes down 3 inches then makes a stuttering noise and if its does not do that it does not work at all i checked all fuses and the motor is working not sure what else?

If you checked the window motor you must have had the door panel off.

Why didn't you check to make sure the window slides without binding?

Does the window only go down and not up? If so, the regulator may be faulty.

the window regulators here in the cold new england weather fail at a very rapid rate...rusted cables to motors shorted out from water entry.....


I replaced all of mine...
