Oil Consumption?

I drive a 1999 s/w2 with 65,000 mi. on her she uses a quart of oil every 1000 miles the spark plugs look fine is this excessive oil consumption?

Yes it is. Check the PCV valve. make sure it rattles.

Do a MMO soak

I use about a qt every 1000 miles, but I have almost 180K!! Ya, thats a little high for a lower millage one.
