Radio and Keyless entry

I have just started buying and fixing wrecked saturns. I have a 99 SL2 that I bought recently that has power doorlocks but no remote. I was wandering what the programming procedure was so I could add a remote to the vehicle before it was sold. I tried the programming procedure from a previous post but it would not work. Can someon please help? Also I have another saturn that I bought that I wanted to add a cd player to, but when I bought it and hooked it up it said,"LOC" on the face. Does anyone know the code to unlock it or does anyone know what I need to do to get the code? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Well I just programmed another key fob tonight and it worked.
We only had one keyless entery fob for our 1999 SL2. I bought a second key fob on ebay for only $ 9.50 (this was including shipping).

I found this answer on someones elses forum Saturnfans.com/forums (thanks to spencerb) I saved a lot of money.

Here's how to program a new remote: Jumper pins 4 and 8 on the OBDII connector by the driver's left knee (I used a paper clip; make SURE you jumper the correct pins or very bad things could happen). You do not need the key in the ignition or you can have the key in the ACC possition. Place the paper clip in the 4 and 8 jumper pins. You should hear the horn chirp, then hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the fob until the horn honks (should be about 15 sec.), now hold the lock and unlock buttons on the second fob and so on. The trasmitters are now programmed. Pull out the paper clip, take out your key if it is in the ingnition and you should be good to go. This is valid for '97-99 S series with the Saturn Security System.

All existing remotes will no longer work if not programmed with the others.

If you do buy a remote from ebay, made sure all the numbers match. Some remotes look exactly alike but they are not the same.
