intake manifold gaskets

03 Windstar 70k.
Not too long after we bought our Windstar, at about 34k, we had the intake manifold gaskets replaced because it looked like oil was leaking (and indeed it was as the dealer repaired it under warranty) toward the "back" (driver's side) of the motor down on the transaxle. Now, it seems that the oil has continued to leak. I don't notice much if any oil loss between changes (3-5k miles). Should this item be covered separately from our original warranty? Should I worry about this? Occasionally (only very occasionally), when the van is first started, it appears to "miss" and run just a little rough for a few seconds. No check engine light comes on. Any advice?

Also, can someone point me toward a "how to" to change my own transaxle fluid? I've done it in my Grand Marquis, but don't know if the same proceedure is safe on the Windstar. Thanks.

As far as the transmission fluid change.
The link in my signature takes you to pictures that I have posted of various projects on my '96 windstar.
In these pictures, I have a series of pictures that show how to change the transmission fluid and filter.
You will need a ATF that is rated as Mercon V.
