Help with cruise control

2000 windtar 3.8l 167K while back ago my gf before she met me took the van to a mechanince to fix the ac on it and she got boned on that cause it ant fix while the van was in the shop the did somethin to the cruse i dont know wat it is never delt with that before could neone help me outwith this one.

What is the cruse doing and not doing? Have you checked the fuses?

checked the fuses they are good. the cruise just doesnt work go to push the button to set it and it dont work i dont know if the mechani unpluged somethin.

HAve you replaced the brake pressure switch under the master cylinder? They tend to leak and short out the cruise control. I believe they are a dealership only part. Not expensive at all. It also comes with a new wire that you will need since the new switch has a different plug.
