i have a 2002 montero sport awd haveing problems with 4wd light. the light won't come on when i shift it to 4h or 4l and when it does come on it stays on a little bit then fades in and out but it feels like 4wd works it hops if you turn in a circle what could be wrong or has anyone had this problem

Currently have that problem. Had a different problem at first with the transfer shifter being stuck. But I fixed that and now my 4WD indicator doesnt' come on but the beast is in gear.
