94 Saturn SC2 Engine Locked Up

I am looking at buy another Sc2 They say the motor just locked up over night. They shut if of one night next morning locked up. Is there something that breaks on these or is this a impossible deal. It is a DOHC. Thanks

I wonder if they tried to turn the crank by hand or if the starter went bad and they just assumed its locked up?

Your going to have to do a little more research on the car. Unless you really dont care if the motor is bad and are willing to put a new one in. Locked up can mean a few things by many different people.
