Hello all, my recently rebuilt AXOD-E transmission has been giving trouble since the day it came from the shop. I was just wondering if someone here could give a little insight. After 4 trips back to the shop for various problems, now i am getting a P0733 "Gear 3 Ratio Incorrect" code. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what was the solution?

I'm sorry that you're having so much trouble with your tranny! I hope the shop did the other return repairs on warenty! How much warenty do you have left? Did this shop do the rebuild or was the tranny sent out and these guys just do the remove and replace?

My 95 has 240,000+ on the original tranny. The guy I got it from took really good care of it.

Sorry I don't know what's wrong with your tranny. I hope someone else can chime in.

Regards,

Dan

thanks dan, it's just been a nightmare, 4 trips back to this shop for the same thing. we finally got corporate involved since he is a franchise and wound up taking it to one of his other locations. long story short the manager at his other location drove the damn thing and finally figured out that my torque converter shudder was actually an engine skip due to a bad set of wires from advance auto parts. i put a set of borg-warner wires on and solved that problem, but the transition from 2-3 and 3-2 since they rebuilt it is rough. especially the downshift, if you're on a hill and it downshifts, it jerks so hard that you think the tranny is going to fall out on the ground. i guess i'll just call them monday since it's still under warranty, the nightmare continues. this is actually the second time typing this post, the first one was very detailed and quite long. when i hit the submit button i was logged out and brought back to the main page, lost all of it, what's up with that?:banghead:
