2002 Mercury Sable, Windows will not go up or down anymore

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable, my window is stuck down and it won't go back up. I push the buttons and none of the windows will work. I tried the buttons on all the doors but nothing works. I need to fix it before it starts to rain harder. Thanks.

Did you check to see if a fuse is blown? That is the first thing to do.

I had the same issue. My windows were down for the whole winter.
One day I started to test all the fuses and I found two fuses (10A) were blown, I replaced them and the power windows started to work again.
the fuse box is located under the dashboard on the left hand side of the steering wheel. The small fuses could be hard to remove using the plastic removal tool. I ended up using so other tool to remove the fuses.
