Ok, so im looking at buying a 2004 Pt Touring edition wit the 2.4 turbo.... before i buy it i had a couple of questions. first, its got 79000 miles, and they dealer wants 8800. blue book is a little higer than that... i think its a good deal, but do you think its a good deal. Second. when test driveing it i noticed once or twice a loss of power... when i was on the free way i got up to about 85-90, and when i started to take my foot of the gas it felt like i hit the brakes. its been about 9 years since i owned a car with a turbo, but i was thinking it was probably cause i was pushing the turbo when i got up in speed and when i took my foot off the gas it droped my boost real low causeing the brake like feeling... so i guess my question is, is this normal for the turbo pt's ?

Well, i did end up buying the car. i test drove it two more times and had no problems. But it did end up throwing and engine code the day i drove it home. It was an o2 sensor code. which my explain some of the issue but not all of it. the dealer's mechanic is going to look a it and fix it at their expense. i would say thanks for the help but......... there was none
