I have two 2002s Windstars that I am working on. The first one is setting code P1450, inability of evap control system to bleed fuel tank. Is there a common problem to set this code ? The other van is hard to fuel when pumping gas into the tank. I did a visual check of the vent hose from the tank area to the top of the filler neck and didn't see any problems. Is there a valve or solenoid to let pressure from the tank when filling ?

The first thing that comes to mind is a vacumm leak... The evap control system sits at the firewall right behind the engine, (assuming you have the 3.8L engine) You'll need to remove the cowl to get a closer view of it. It looks like a black plastic pipe with tow extensions and a diaphram on top. There's tow rubber vacumm lines going to it from the plenum. Inspect both lines and there's also a little hard plastic vacuum tube that could crack or degrade with heat and cause a leak.
For the other van I don't know what you mean by The other van is hard to fuel can you be more specific?
Also always make sure to include the engine size, mileage and trim model as this will help greatly in trying to diagnose the problem your having which could be specific to a single vehicle model.
