99 windstar erratic gauges door lock/unlock

I've had a 99 windstar for almost a year and we've had many problems. right now ALL of the gauges (gas, rpm, speed, temp) jump erratically sometimes at the same time sometimes individually, at the same time I hear a clicking noise about 75% of the time. Using the remote my drivers door will not lock about 60% of the time. the passenger side both doors won't unlock 90% of the time. The van stalls below 1000 rpms about 40% of the time. Occasionally the door ajar light comes on and the interior lights blink on/off while driving. I hate this van! Any one have any ideas?

The '99 is very sensitive to voltage "jumps". Check out all the battery cables, etc ... and after that, start with the extra relays added for that year. In particular, suspect the "PCM power relay" ... and the "fuel pump relay"... see your local glovebox manual. Replacing with new relays is better than "swapping around".
