96 Impala SS

Ok I just got back from Iraq and wanted to put some money into my SS. I put new headers, wires,plugs cap,oil,fuel filter and air intake. It was working fine before I had all this work done. But now it is shouting little droplets of gas out the passenger side tail pipe and running bad. I have had everthing checked and re-checked. I also had new O2 sensors put in since they said that might do it. Any idea`s?

Did you do a tune up or wire it wrong

the problem your describing is very vague....you should have a check engine light on if is running this bad....get the DTC failure codes and start from there...

replacing the distributor cap on this vehicle is a very complex and time consuming job which if not done correctly will cause the symtoms that you describe....many have not taken care in the replacement of this componet only to find your type of problem...


being the owner of this type vehicle since nov 1995 and being the only person to repair it this is what I have found...
