Type of Coolant

While changing my engine coolant control sensor I lost some coolant. When doing a test drive on the car after fixing other things the low coolant light came on. I only have 50/50 mix green Prestone coolant. The coolant in my 01 SC1 1.9L seemed pink. Definitely wasn't orange. Would it be ok to put the green mix into it to top it off? It says it mixes with any color. Thanks!
