Si or ZC tranny????

Which is a better tranny to use and why? Thanx for your help.

depends...zc has shorter gearing so you'll have better acceleration......the trade off is that if you drive on the highway alot, you're gonna be revving high at 80mph....
...or so I've heard, I've had no first-hand experience.
the zc is a big pita b/c of all the axle misinformation out there :(

Okay, i have the ZC tranny on my d16a6 and i used 88-89 teg axles for it, not a big deal... plus, i got a tranny with LSD.... And to solve the highway speed problem, i put in the final drive gear from my Si in the ZC tranny thus i get the short gearing for better acceleration and my speed isnt so high with the Si Final Drive on the Highway!!! Since i blew my tranny going 135 at least for about 2 minutes, anything was better than what i had :)
