Ever been victim to a Sleeper?

Been a victim and have victimized. My zx2 took a 2002 mustang several weeks ago. Now it may have been a v6 mustang but its still pretty impressive for an escort. My old 4.3l S10 with rust above the fender wells and big cb wips, used to do pretty frickin good in highschool. It used to run with stock 305 camaros back in the day.

93 or 94 eclipse. after lite turned we went down the road and i mashed on the gas.

Sure it wasnt a heavily modded stealth or 3000gt?

another one to watch out for is a dodge spirit r/t. i seen what i thought was one the other day (spirit), but it may have been de-badged. it was black, tinted windows, rims.... i didn't mess with it :alien:

Reading all this make me even less able to wait for the engine swap in my Yugo - finnally I'll be a challenge to something other than 18-wheelers. And what'd be a better sleeper than a Yugo?

Yeah, they were pretty potent, it was my engine and turbo with a DOHC Lotus head. Too bad they like to snap timing belts.

it probably was a gsx or a gst eclipse, with those cars if you spend 5'gs into the motor you can pull low 13's high 12sec runs..
that is a real sleeper...

my brother has a sleeper, its a 90 cutlass supreme, but it has the high output quad 4 and a 5 speed to back it up.... this car hauls ass, he beat a turbo civic without any problem, and i kept up with a grand prix gtp. no doubt that car has balls, and all stock at that, at the moment though he blew up the top end and its getting rebuilt, but he is putting in new lifters and a cam, it ought to be fun.

I dunno If this counts, but I was comming home from hangin out with some friends, and some kid I know who also drives a Thunderbird..a V6, (A rice mobile, has APC Decals and a far pipe) flies by me doing almost 90, and I'm only doing 50. I mashed the gas trying to keep up, but I couldnt make up the difference.

i had a lightly modded 2000 silverado w/ 6.0 l in school. it would run with the cars at my school.
one day a buddy of mine bought a car at an auction for $300 and he wanted to run. after school i looked at his car. it was a Ford Merkur (Google it) it looked like an alien knocked up an escort and it came out deformed. well he ad a few friends and we go out to run and we run from a stop up to 100 and he had about 4 cars on me by then. he wants to run again but i already look like an ass so we go to the store and he pops the hood. it was a TC V6.. he said the merkur was germanys' escort and it was souped up to run on the autobahn. i dont know if it was AWD but i never heard him spin a tire and he launched insane.
