Limited Edition 05 ss cluster

Just purchased a brand new plug and play ss cluster with all the gauge package,everything works fine except for the oil gauge which i was told i would have to change the oil sending unit from a base model to an ls or ss sending unit,can anyone tell me where it might be located on the 3.4 engines
