Po300 code - what's next?

I have 2000 LS2 3.0 V6 with the infamous P0300 multiple random cylinder misfire code. I changed the plugs and installed new coil packs, but no use, still has same code. It runs Very poorly and is not drivable in this condition. Anyone been here before? What to try next?
