BOO Switch

First off, I would like to thank WISWIND for his post of general information. Without reading this first, I would of spent alot of time taking my van to my mechanic and waiting for him to diagnose the problem.
My wife took to van to work the other day, she doesn't normally drive it. She called me and said it would come out of park. After she called our mechanic, she was able to get it into nuetral then start it and get into drive, so we thought we could take our time getting it fixed. Well after reading WISWIND's post, he described our problem to a T. And after reading that he said it shouldn't be driven because we have no brake lights(had no idea they didn't work) I went to the dealer this afternoon for the $17 part and installed it when I got home from work and BINGO, everything works fine.
