battery light flickers in overdrive

I have had this issue since I purchased the vehicle, used, in 2003. I live in a hilly/mountainous area. When my car is set onto cruise control, the car works great on flatter areas. As the car goes up on an incline, the car will shift into overdrive as it should to maintain speed. The issue that concerns me is that my car’s battery light in the dash flickers lightly until the car shifts back down.

I have had major and minor maintenance regularly. Every computer diagnostic comes back with nothing about the issue.

Should I be concerned?

was having same problem with 1999 it flickered for a while when you really accelerated then the alternator went out
