1999 Windstar will not idle

I have a 1999 windstar with a 3.8 L engine. The van will not idle. I had the dealership replace the intake gaskets and do a tune up on the engine about 1 month ago. The van stalls after starting and when sitting at the traffic light.:crying:

Sounds like many other idle problems on this site. Try cleaning the IAC that sites on top of the throttle body.

I agree, if there are no "engine lights", the IAC is the trouble area. Of course the electrical harness can also be the problem ... rarely is, but can be. I would just buy a new IAC valve before it ran me crazy. Easy to replace.
