HI I have a 99 saturn sL1 I just replaced the clutch, and reinstalled the slave cylinder and for some reason it is extremely hard to push in the clutch. AKA it wont push in at all. I am pretty sure I installed the clutch and throw out bearing correctly. Also the tires spin freely in gear like the clutch pedal is pushed in but it is not.
Is the slave cylander bad? or is the clutch installed wrong??
Please HELP!! thanks DEREK

Did the trans mate with the engine completely before starting the bolts, or did you 'walk' them together by tightening the bell housing bolts to bring them together?
Sounds like something is jammed and the trans did not mate properly with the engine. Something is jammed up in there. I'd start by finding something you can remove from the trans bellhousing to allow you to see in there. Go buy a cheap LED inspection light. One that is thin and flexible and shine it inside and try finding what is jammed.

+1. Something went wrong inthere. The hydrualics provide plenty of force to push on the pressure plate. If you cannot press the clutchpedal then something id definetly not right inside the bell housing
