Brighten headlights?

As anyone with a 97-03 Grand Prix knows, these cars have some of the worst headlights ever in means of putting light on the road. I have done a resurfacing of the lens to remove the fogginess as well as gotten some of the brightest bulbs possible but still haven't gotten the result I want. Does anyone know a good way to get more light on the road? My dad has a 95 Grand Prix and mom has an 04 and both light up the road but my 02 just doesn't put out the light I want. I live in Alabama so I travel a lot of roads with no lights and most are back roads where I need to watch for deer and other things so it would be nice to get more light. Any ideas? I have heard of going to a higher wattage bulb, but wasn't sure whether or not the wiring harness could handle it without any problems. I currently have a eurodezigns (standard wattage) ultra which is brighter than the silverstar ultra.

Silverstars are your best bet unless you want to go to HID's. There are quite a few HID kits on the market that will fit the lights without modification and are reasonably priced.

in my opinion, the blue/greenish bulbs are junk. if you want a decent bulb...i would look into the Sylvania Silverstars.
if you really wanna go all out, and wanna spend $120.00, check this (https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=617&catid=101) out. i have this kit on my GTX, and it is flat out AWESOME. very very bright, and pretty much plug and play.

The only other thing that I can think of, including all of the items previously mentioned, is to replace the head light assemblies. The mirrored surface inside your current headlights may have become dirty or have a film over it.

I have seen that kit on zz performance as well as other hid kits. Are the ones on zz performance both the low and high beam or just the low. It says the highs and halogen but I couldn't tell much about it. I have seen some that are designed with a motor to tilt the hid bulb for the high beam but haven't heard much about them. I don't want to spend a lot on something that might give out after a while.
