Hello,
The ABS light of my Saturn SL2 turns on after i put it in gear and start moving, accompanied by a sort of mechanical buzzing sound. The brakes are still working with a little bit of a squeak, but my mechanic is away for the holiday. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to help my poor car in the meantime? Will brake fluid help?
Thanks for any assistance no matter how basic - I don't know my way around a car more than filling up the gas tank and changing the oil!!!!

More than likely a sensor on one of the individual wheels is bad. This would set off the ABS light. Nothing you can do for it untill its determine which wheel has the bad sensor. It can wait till the mechanic looks at it. No harm will be done to the car.
While the mechanic has it have him look at your brakes and make sure they have enough pad. squeaking under load indicates your pads may be low and the "low Pad indicator" (which is just a piece of metal that rubs the rotor) is hitting the rotor.
Also, check your oil! Changing it is great but saturns LOVE to burn oil. Keep the oil full and you'll have a one happy saturn...which inturns means one happy driver :)
