Tomorrow I am going to pick up a 2001 Saturn SC1 3-door coupe, 5-speed, great condition, 67,000 miles, $3800 including tax and title. Not too bad, don't ya think? From a dealer too!! Anything I should be on the look for as far as common issues that may come up? Thanks.

Not bad at all.
Yes. Intake manifold gasket. VERY common for the '01 Sx1 models to have the gasket wrinkled and need replacement.
bring some brake cleaner with you when you go to get the car and see if the idle changes as you spray near each cylinder at the gasket :)

In June 2004, I bought a 2000SL with 62k miles for $4600.
So, I would say $3800 is a good price.
My dealer had a marketing item that included a 1 month 1000 mile warranty.
Within a few hundred miles I had a cracked head which, to my pleasant surprise, the dealer fixed without a squabble.
Since then it has been a very economical car. It is also a 5 speed manual, 1.9 L sohc. My mileage is in the low 40's with mainly highway driving.
As mentioned by others at 162k miles the intake manifold gasket had to be replaced.
Also, the engine uses a bit more oil than I would like about 1 qt every 1500 to 2000 miles.
I use a high mileage oil (Castrol or Valvoline) which reduced the oil consumption a bit.
Best of luck.
