I can help trim your list of road car chassis numbers down by quite a few.
V.I.N numbers 019, 026 and 027 were replaced by 01R, 02R and 03R. 019, 026 and 027 together with numbers 030, 032, 034, 035 and 041 have never been allocated to any F1 road car or derivative.
In other news:
Check out this thread: What Mclarens do you have pictures of? (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=643083)
You'll probably find that with a lot of what you are missing, so too are the rest of us.

Check out here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=707200) too for the GTR's :)
If you have the time, do what I did - start at post 1 on this forum and see every thread and save the pics as you go - it gives a great background to the F1 (although some of the cars locations and chassis #'s have changed over the years as new info comes to light) and will start off your Picture Library a treat

Thanks, that clears a lot up.:) So when mclaren got an order for a GTR they just took a chassis that had already been put together and gave it an HDF kit and a roll cage?

So when mclaren got an order for a GTR they just took a chassis that had already been put together...... I'm not sure if it was already put together, perhaps they caught it early enough in the build process to stop it being too much of a road car to make the transition to a race car easier
....and gave it an HDF kit and a roll cage? It's not as simple as that; there is more to a GTR than a set of spoilers and a cage, but I'll let those more informed on the GTR's to make the full reply

Yeah i know,:) they put a new control panel in place of the right side passenger seat, they removed the kenwood sound system so they could channel air to the brakes, they exposed the short throw shifter.
I saw all of that on that one thread with the detailed pics of #24R being prepared for that GT90's event (co0ngrats to whoever pulled those off):grinyes:
