turn signal not working. help please!

i just a bought a 97 sc2 and the turn signals are not working. i have checked the fuses, the hazard lights do work. tonight i even put in a new turn signal switch assembly in, still nothing happens when i push the lever. someone told me a could be a relay, but i dont know where that is or how to check it

Sounds like the flasher unit is bad. $3 at a parts store. Should be behind a panel on the passenger side of the center console, below the radio.
The hazard lights and turn signals are completely separate circuits. The wiring is totally different and they use separate flashers. You can swap in your hazard light flasher to test.

However its on the back of the interior fuse panel. Access can only be reached through the drivers side kick panel :)

They must have moved it in later years.

Its the same in 2nd and 3rd gen. First gen could be different but i doubt it.

Mine is a 92 and it's in a fuse/relay panel behind the passenger side of the of the lower part of the dash. Below the radio. If you were a passenger in my car, it would be right next to your left leg about knee height.
