Also I will be purchasing my first car this month my price range is around 4000$, if anyone could possibly recommend me a car. I know that all sports cars are cut out because of high insurance rates.

$3,300.00 is high for a '98 with 124k MILES. What is the service history on the car? Is the seller able to provide you with documentation in regard to oil/tranny filter and fluid changes performed at the recommended intervals?

If not, find a newer Taurus or Sable with a lot less miles for +- $3,500.00. With tax and tuneup you'll hit your 4K limit.

Last summer I bought a '99 sable with 77K miles (124K kilometers) on it for $2,200.00 for my son. Had to stick $500.00 into it immediately, but it was worth it.

My dad dragged the price down to 2,800$ , It is owned by a mechanic and he bought it from another previous owner. He said that he tuned the car up, if the car breaks down or anything he will also repair it free of charge.
