Came across this the other day on eBay and just wondered what everyone else thought of it. I've heard of this for other cars, but not for a minivan.

Would be nice if it actually did work/help for the price, but as goes with a lot of stuff on eBay if its too good to be true........

do a detailed feedback report on this product and you learn that the item is a 50 cent resistor. I think it falls under the "1 born every minute" and "too good to be true" category.
I find the negative feedback on ebay often more enlightening than the +ve stuff.

You know, for some reason I didn't even look thru the feedback (never took it seriously enough for that I guess).

The thing about performance chips, you reall need to know what you are doing before you start messing around with the computer controls.
On older vehicles, there was more to gain.
However, the newer ones (all the windstar years) with the OBDII controls, things are pretty well controlled.
I am sure that there are people, who really know what they are doing....that can gain something.
However the rest of us (and I put myself at the top of this list) would be more likely to cause more harm than good.
There is VERY little that you can do for fuel economy with a performance chip.
Boost performance?....tranny is already a weak point.....so without some work there you are asking for more problems.
As fuel prices go up......"fuel saving" devices come up that make some pretty nice claims.....but are almost always a waste of money.
