door lock acuator install

I just purchased the door lock acuator from ford dealer to install in drivers door of my 1999 windstar. could someone who has done this to their car please email me at [email protected] to let me know how long it took, the tools needed, and describe the procedure you used to do this job. thank you so much, mark

I used a universal actuator. Much cheaper and I think easier. Not sure on the Ford type.
