Just adding a tip here for those that are going to be making this kit.

I'd that i'd share so no one else makes the same mistake.

The two intake bits that have the arrow on them....the edge has to be painted body colour.
I made the mistake of not painting this part correctly in the instruction's.

I already had it painted red then painted over the edge in black.
You can see from the model pic it shows out when attached to the intakes and the rest of the car. I thought it would not be seen when assembled. :(

Hopefully can touch it up later

I think you should change the oil in the kiwi-bot more often! :D :finger:

j/k

Doesn't seem like a big deal that cannot be touched up. Good luck with it.

Three days with no update?!? I'm starting to get worried....

Yup, I still visit this site almost everyday...one day I'll find time to start building again! But for now I'll sit in the shadows and look on.

Keep up the awesome work P-man!

I thought i may have got it finished in the weekend but other things came up
The car has been polished and looking alot better now. The widow trim is drying at the moment which was the last bit of painting i needed to do.

Hasn't been touched for a few days before that as i've been pretty busy trying to get my car (1:1) ready for the 4's&Rotary Nationals at the end of March
But hopefully it will get done in the next few days all going well :)

Just another tip to look out for.

The rear body panel does not sit down far enough and needed to be glued and 'rubber-banded" in place to dry.

I must say i was quite supprised by the bad fit....i'll be interested to see when others build this kit to see what it's like.

The bits shown is where it does not sit down far enough onto the bottom skid panel....there would be about a 1-2mm gap.

I have used Kristal Klear glue which takes longer to dry but wont melt the paint incase i screwed it up.
Hopefully it works out OK

Looks great for a red Enzo Pman ( :finger: ), that mistake with the air intake will teach you for not painting it black, then it wouldn't of shown up.......:D

They are long tooth picks that are just taped to a piece ot the "tree" so i can hold on to them when i spray.
I cut as much off as i can before painting. Try and leave each piece holding on by just one strong bit from the sprue

But what do you do after you have sprayed the pieces? I mean when you cut the piece from the tree, won't there be a spot that's missing paint? How do you fix that? Brush?
