Whenever i drive my car now some weird stuff happens when ever i hit the brakes and come to a stop. My car starts shaking really bad. It is annoying as all hell too cause the sound just eco's inside the hatch. I have a feeling that i might be having problems with my torque converter but i am not sure. Also..........whenever i don't run the car for a few days and take it out(mind u it is around feezing where i live) and i step on the gas to accelerate it periodically will not accelerate and it is like my engine almost shuts off? Nothing comes out of the exhaust? This can be scary sh*t when merging..........anyone got any ideas??

I'd check your brakes, that may be the vibration your feeling....or maybe your tires? As far as your car freezing and not accelerating...i dont know...

does your pedal move up and down with the shaking? If it does then the problem is most likely warped rotors. About the acceleration, it sounds like something fuel related to me but still not sure. pull the spark plugs real quick and check to see if their fouled up or anything.

the shaking under braking could be the track rod ends coz my friend had the exac same thing on his Vauxhall

Shaking under braking can be an umber of things. The most common being worn/warped rotors with worn brake pads. So that would be the first place I would check. On a more difficult note, it could be anything else on the hub. Worn wheel bearing, tie rods, ball joints, shocks, etc. So, do you know if it happens more on one side, or both sides are pretty much equal?

Both sides are pretty much equal, it might be my brakes but i mean i just got new brakes put on 4 months ago....i think the paused acceleration is most likely fuel line freez. Anyone know of any ways to fix that?

as fer as the acceleration when cold it sound like a fule problem. try dooing so maintaince if you haven't in a while. mine did the same thing untill i replaced the pcv valve and the hose.

The same shit happens to me when I brake... Stock DX Discs cant take the abuse, mine are warped like hanable lector... Not to expensive for cross drilled rotors thoe, its those four piston calipers that will bite you in the ass! BTW if anyone knows of any good four piston (or good two piston) calipers that arent taxed as fuck let me know!

I would reccomend getting the Brembo blanks for $17 a rotor. They last a while, they can take a beating and cheap for only $17 a rotor.

one time my rotors were so warped that it shattered my brake pads
