More POWER!!!

Hey, i am looking for away to add some more power and throttle reponse to my 4th gen, anyone got any ideas.

MPFI swap...i/h/e...zex...what all do you have done? maybe i can help more with that knowledge

b16a swap, AEM intake, Si tranny, Unorthadox Racing Pully, AEM Cam Gears, DC Strut Bar, DC Headers, RActive cat-back system, AEM fuel rail.................I wanna be all motor, no NOS!

get rid of one of those dc headers, get some cams, individual throttle bodies, TODA makes a nice manifold, port n polish, pistons...etc.....

I got cams already, whats wrong with the DC headers?..............i don't have much $ available so is there anything i could do for cheap or for no money?

ok headers implies you have 2 it was a joke cuz i like correcting mistakes and you have cam gears you didnt say anything about cams themselves, and nitrous is gonna be the best bang for you buck......but all motor....you have pretty much everything besides the really expensive stuff.....oh yea get a chip

what do you mean by Si trans? obviously, the L3 4G Si trans will not mate to the b16 block...im assuming it is a typo.....unless you converted to hydro and are running the 99/00 Si trans (doubtful) :confused:

Yea, sorry about that....i did mess up. I was thinking new chip also but i will have to save up. I have heard somthing about tightening your throttle cable so u get more gas going to the engine?

i mean.....if you goto the track run open header or something..i mean you should already be in the mid 14s no doubt....

ofcoarse....but that will cost a pretty penny and considering your broke....ide say start saving

Turbo is possible but than you wont be all motor.

Well what do u think i would run with turbo and NOS?? Cause if the numbers will be that good i will throw out the whole All motor thing

Im building an All motor D16, running 11:1 compression ...im still gonna run my nitrious...... or if you go with a turbo you can still run nitrious....either way $500 for 75 horse's is by far the cheapest big power upgrade.....in my opinion....

Couldn't tell ya the 1/4mile time unless you can tell us how much boost you plan to run.

well, i couldn't really tell ya. But just wondering if anyone has seen a hatch run with those mods before.

first off where in burgh are ya? i'm living in downtown... it really sucks but yeah...

and like he said it really really depends upon how much boost you run and how well its tuned, *talking out my ass* with what you have i'd think a mid to midlow 13 could be pulled off with a turbo running about 7-10 psi, i can't say for sure as i've never saw a turbo b16 powered hatch run... but that would be a pretty reasonable SWAG (stratigic wild ass guess)

litterally in down town... you know where point park is... thats where i live, well maybe not in point park but right by it, its nice to see another fourth genner from pitts, now there are 3 4th genners i know of

O yea.........you know of any good cars websites that focus on the Pittsburgh area??

dont forget if you turbo your b16 then plan on runnin nos, i would think about alittle engine build up so you dont blow your expensive b16
