my family tree: well im not going to put my whole family tree here so im sorry. My surname appears to be 'special' because a few centuries ago my um 'uncle'(how ever you will call an old grandpa from a few centuries back) was a baron in poland. apperntly he was quite wealthy and had a quite high position in the country(after all, he was a baron lol). i dont know much about it though...lol

Hi, I'm Alex.

I'm sixteen years old (almost seventeen).

I live in Elma, Washington in the U.S. It is a small farming community. I live on 15 acres of woods, fields, and a creek. It is very pretty and peaceful.

My nearest hobby store is 40 miles away and very over-priced. I use the
Internet whenever possible to get stuff.

Most of my models are Revell and AMT because that's all the stores around here have. But, I'm starting to collect some Tamiyas and the hallowed Fujimi Enthusiast Series.

My father is self-employed, and owns/works in an auto repair shop on our property. Consequently, I KNOW cars, and therefore have an advantage in model detailing.

I may be only sixteen, but I'm smart--I'm already a senior in high school, and one of the top students.

I'm going to a 4-year university this fall to become a mechanical engineer. So, no modeling for a while after that...but I'll keep visiting AF! And I'll DEFINITELY keep the hobby once I graduate.

I've started modeling when I was 10, with a couple of fighter airplanes. After that, when I was 15, I made a crappy Tammy Ferrari F189 and an even crappier Nissan R89C. After a short break of almost 9 years I rediscovered my old hobby and started modeling.
I'm a big fan of Italian cars, especially Alfa Romeo, Lambo and Ferrari, and everything that has to do with group C and Le Mans, especially the Porsches, so those are my favourite subjects.

I took up scale modelling as a hobby long ago (military figures and vehicles 1/35), but had a long break. Now I'm considering getting back into business, this time with car kits. I'll focus on 1/24 european classic cars of 80'. First I've got to referesh and improve my skills. I can't wait till I start, cause some great kits are waiting for me: Tamiya's MB 500 SEC Lorinser, Fujimi's BMW 635 CSi Hartge, Porsche 911 Turbo 85' (both Enthusiast series) and MB AMG 190E.

Do you perhaps know any Saab car model kits? Didn't find any.
