But like Tx and Tony said, I find joy in little thinks in life...For exemple, my girlfriend bought me a souvenir about 2 years ago: it's a little plastic red lobster about 3.5 cm and I enjoy watching it!

I'd like to know is there is some of your friend that are saying it's a waste of money or it's too stupide to buy such a cars like these? Do you still think llittle about your car before sleeping? Do you regret it?

No one tells me its stupid except my wife. At least shes the only one who tells me to my face. I don't regret it at all. Of course GreenLambo's answer should be far more interesting.

Lastly let my tell you one of my second joy in life...

Since I live in Quebec, Canada...it's winter here and it's been like 4 hour the snow is falling( it's very beautiful in the night...)
and right now I'm think i'll go tomorow morning go for a cross contry skiing. And you need to put some kind of wax on your ski's...So my joy is: depending of the weather I need to choose between 3 wax and it's red, green or dark blue( the bottle)!!!

Skiing sounds great. I just went snowmobieling for the first time in Vermont. Speeds faster than 80mph. Quite a rush. Although an altogether different experience than cross-country.

One little anecdote. A while back I was driving the (orange) Murci without plates or dealer temps. I pulled into a restaraunt to eat. When I came back out to the parking lot a cop was cruising by slowly loooking at the Lambo. I crossed my fingers, but he kept going. When I opened the car door he whipped his car around and came to a screaching stop behind my parked car. Two officers got out. Eyeing the plates (or lack of) he asked me how long Ive had this car. before I could answer the other one asked how fast Ive gotten it up to. (thinking quick) I said I was still breaking it in and I havn't pushed it. The officer replied, "Well, when you get in broken in, come out to the George Bush Freeway at 3am on Tuesday night. I patrol that area, you can drive it as fast as you like." We shook hands and they sped off.

It's not good to see nice cops like that, I was considering posting something in response right after but hoped people would read what Tony said after.

If the police officers, people that you depend on to protect your life in times of need don't care, and in fact encourage illegal things, who can you dpeend on? Maybe this is just a case of some high speed driving but say somebody's on that road at 3 am, and isn't seen or it's too late to manoveur, somebody gets hurt or even killed, it's the cops fault for:

a) Encouraging the driver to do it in the firts place
b) Not fulfilling his duty to prevent this.

It's a touchy subject for me, because there's too many retards these days who get away with too much and nothing's being done. If I want ot go as fast as I want, I'll pay for some laps around the track.

Sorry that i have been out of the loop for a few days but me and my Fiance have been in LV since last Thurs. and my Laptop could not swim :)
As for all of your questions,
I do generally trade up or out of most of my cars pretty quickly so i do not lose a whole lot on depreciation and my Porsche dealer takes REAL good care of me on my buys and trades so i never take a great loss. And with the way i trade in and out i would say 2.1 is a good # for playing the past 12-18mo's

Yes my Fiance is great (i will send a pic for Tony to post if it is allowed since i cannot downsize my pics yet) and she lets me do whatever i like because she knows that i am not stupid about what i do get myself involved in.And yes in my opinion she is one of a kind and i am the lucky one in this relationship

I cant say that i wil not get a Carrera GT although i am on the list but the $$ seems to just keep going up and up so it will depend on where the $$ lands and how i am feeling that week...FYI. If Tony gets one chances are i will to :)

Yes i was in Last years Gumball,,, NYC-LA. I drove with a friend of mine Kyle who has a 02 RUF Twin Turbo...... he took the award for highest speed attained during the race ..207mph in the LV desert.

I have a new x-50 on the way for this years Gumball from SF-Miami. wish me luck. thanks again for the welcome. J

x-50 (shame on me) what´s that?

Porsche Twin Turbo has a Powerkit option (X-50) that adds another 35hp to the stock 420hp engine. You can also get the composite brake option for all Twin Turbo's and X-50's without having to buy the GT-2 to get it. That is what i ordered on the X-50 i have on order. J

I already have an X-50 (the silver in the pics i posted) The difference in that one and the one on order is that i could not order the composite brakes 6 mo's ago, so when the option became available from the factory in Nov. i ordered another one than w/ the composites. This was ordered specifically for me to use for the Gumball.
as for performance yes it is great to have the extra hp for the top end but i can notice a dramatic increase in acceleration especially in 2nd and 3rd gears....... you definately know it is not a stock TT when you drive one. otherwise it is just as impressive as the regular TT. J

What route are you on through Texas, I-10 or HWY 290? Just curious, b/c I want to be on the rode when everyone is driving, just to see all the unimaginable and unbelievable cars. No, actually i have just the Red TT, a silver X-50 and the GT-2 will be gone by Fri. When the X-50 i ordered gets in i will trade the other X-50 in and i am sure i will get rid of the Red Turbo before than also as i just sits in my garage most of the time right now anyway.
I go to Houston about 2 or 3 x's a month. Dont know when i will be in Hou. during Mar. but i will keep you posted. J

Sweet! I don't think you need to do anything with your car maybe Gumball magnets. If you have seen the Mischief 3000 video from last years run you see several times that cops pull over cars(the Texas Highway Patrol was a big part of it, Tony I think you know what jerks they can be since you also live in Texas). As far as what happens when you get pulled over, no idea.

i hate texas, i drove there this summer and the cops drive on the oppisate sides of the highway and then flip bitchs and romp thru the median and pull you over

You will be really interested in seeing it. It was basically hell. I was shocked. The majority of the problems were associated with it being outside North America in countries with strick laws. Some guys/girls got carjacked. Ouch.

I did not mean to turn you off from this because the majority of problems are now solved by doing the race (uh... rally) in the U.S. and I highly suggest you go on it (based upon my little knowledge on the subject!)

I have already promised some people that I will join them in rally in a few years (need to acquire a nice car first). If you are still in it in a few years, Tony, then I will greet you then! :)
