Thinking of getting Fujimi and Aoshima kit - need help

I've always been a Tamiya fan, becuase the kits are such high quality and fit pretty well. I was wondering whether the Fujimi, and Aoshima kit fit as well as Tamiya??

I'd say they're Tamiya minus 2. They take a bit of head-scratching, but with some work, they turn out okay.

edit: Well, Fujimi, anyways. Haven't done an Aoshima kit yet...

I have only ever built 1 Fujimi kit, a Porsche enthusiast 356B, it went togeather very well, better than some Tamiya kits I have built. I have another 3 enthusiast kits to do.

I do not know what the fit is like on the more basic Fujimi kits, but I am sure they would go togeather without too much trouble if you have already built some Tamiya kits.

Fujimi basic kits are good, if they are the 1st release of the subject. Any variations of the same car (i.e. modified reissues) might have some fit problem, but that can be fixed with superglue putty trick real quick.
The fit of Aoshima is generally good, but same as Fujimi about the variations.
Good part of them, and the Japanese kit in general is the real rubber tires, and thin and even thickness of the windshield parts.
The best way to find out is to ask AF members about the kit you're thinking of buying, and someone should own it, or have built it, that they can comment on it.

There detail is not as good as Tamiya. You will find that underneath is mostly molded in "blocks" and interior is fairly basic.
They go together well, but dont be fooled by there fancy box art on the cover as at times the kit can be different as was the case with the BozzSpeed Evo i done
