98 Mercury sable sw

i have a 98 mercury sw that is over heating and i took out the thermos stat and it still over heated i have the 3.0L 24 valve dohc please help:banghead:
i realy am going:screwy: if any one can help please let me know their is no water in the oil and no heat comming out of the vents

when was the last time you changed your antifreeze?

ive changed it the same time i removed the thermostat the car is just over heating ive checked the water pump and the propeler on the inside is good its not loseits prety tight so its not the water pumpi just bought the car and when i did they told me its the head gasket but no water in the oil but ive never heared a car overheating from a blown head gasket:banghead:
