Blinking parking lights and won't start

Trying to pick up a 96 Windstar that had been sitting for a few months. Put in a new battery- will not start. Parking lights blinking constantly, doors lock- Any ideas on what the problem could be?

It is sounding like an electrical connection issue, assuming that the battery you put in is good.
The hard part is finding the bad connection.
I would start at the battery....and work from there.
Don't forget to check all ground connections as well.
