Driver side not working wife said it got real hot before it stopped working.I've changed the switch with the passenger side it works there. Are there anyother fuses someplace elese that migth be blown?I'm thinking its the element if so is this a GM only product or can I get help at NAPA or other like stores? Not letting GM to look at it can't afford there so called expertise.lol

The 15 amp fuse for the drivers heated seat module is in the left side instrument panel wiring junction box, located on the left side of the instrument panel when the drivers door is open. It should be labeled LH HTD SEAT/BCM FUSE. Look in the back of your owners manual for the location within the junction box. The passenger seat has its own fuse, in the right side box. They are interchangeable, so swap them and see what happens.
However, given that it got really hot before quitting, I think you are right about the element being burned out.

I had the same problem and it was the element that burnt out... I had warranty coverage... The dealer fix was to take the whole seat apart and replace the element... If I had to pay for that it would have cost a few hundred dollars due to the labor involved... :frown:

I swappped out all the components to no avail so I took it to the dealer. Cost would have been 600$ but the ole lady talked them down to about 400......
