2002 Doesnt have DPFE

Hmmm.. just started the Leckemby procedure and was checking to see if my van has the metallic or plastic box. Guess what? There isn't a DPFE! WTF over? Any ideas why I don't have one? What are the effects of not having one? :screwy:
