Pulling motor 96

This weekend I'm going to strip my 96 to make a ice fishing shelter. Can the motor and transmision be lifted out together with a cherry picker or do they have to be separated? Will the air bags be dead when I remove the battery? thanks

Motor/trans comes out from the bottom. They will not lift out the top.

I won't be able to lift the van that high. Can I take the motor apart and separate it from the tranny and lift the block out than drop the tranny? thanks
