Tach??

trying to hook up a tachometer. anyone know which wire to splice into for the tach signal? i read in an older post that the second wire from the front at the EDIS connection, but it doesn't seem to work.
any help is appreciated. thanx

That sounds about right, should be Gray/Orange or Gray/Yellow

yeah, the first is grey w/orange stripe. 2nd and 3rd is brown w/yellow stripe, counting from the front back. i guess i'll try the 1st one.

hook it to the lead wire on the distributor...should be the brown wire. thats signal on most fords & mercs.

93's did not have a distributor
