93 Ford CV Check Engine & Stalls
Okay i'm not to mechanically inclined when it come to cars but I've got a whopper of a problem with my 94 crown vic, it has about 107,000 miles but for the past few months if im driving the car without the a/c on and i approach a red light, stop sign or to brake to make a sudden left or right turn the car will shut off so then i'll have to pop it back in nuetral and it will start back up like nothing every happened but it will still stall again at any slim idle position but when a/c is on it never stalls & drives like perfect but after about 20 mins of driving the check engine light comes on & engine begins to knock....what problem have i gotten myself into....help please :banghead:

Take it to Autozone or somewhere and have them read the stored code. It should tell you what it thinks is wrong.

Autozone will not reade an OBD I system. Click here (http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/)and there is a site that tells you how ro get codes free and what the codes mean. The dying problem you have may be the Idle Speed Control motor.
