Ok this is Odd. I have a 2000 Impala LS 3.8. I bought it used and ever since I had it it had an odd RPM problem. While I would be driving and barely hit gas pedal the RPM's would jump around from like 2500-3500 and you could feel it. Hit the gas a little harder and it would start driving smooth. But now when I come to a stop sign car runs rough and RPM's drop to about 300 then stalls. Car starts right up and drives on. I have replaced Plugs and plug wires. I also have treated the fuel system several times. I am wondering could this be a Throttle Postion Sensor Problem?? Need Help Please

There is a bulletin directing you toward a possible TPS problem before diagnosing it as a problem with the TCC circuit

Maybe even just a stuck/kinked/dirty throttle cable?
A manifold vacuum leak could cause your problem too.
* Don't sleep on an air filter either.
