i need help on this Mather
More information is needed here.:grinyes:
First thing we need year and engine and transmission information.
What letter is in front of the code. Like P-B-A-C
Are you using a OBD 11 or manufacturer specific scanner?
Is anything acting up or what is it doing or not doing?

The OBDII "generic" code listing in my AlldataDIY list jumps from P1001 to P1100.
This would indicate that the P code is not applicable to the windstar.
If there is another letter in front, then it would be a manufacturer specific, or "proprietary" code, that would need a different code reader than the Generic OBDII code reader.
If it is a P code, it is possible that the reader gave a faulty code, which I have had happen.
If you get a code that I do not have listed, or a code that has a different letter in front of it, you can do a google or yahoo search on it.
I have not listed the other codes (non P code) as they require specific code readers to access, and so one already has a professional involved.
Also, the lists would be pretty long.
