The driver side window, and the quarter window, at the rear on the driver side will not open. Is there one common fuse for all windows or individual fuses. Any suggestion, would be appreciated. The other 2 windows work!

On my '96, each front window has its own 30amp fuse in the I/P fuse panel, and the rear quarter windows have their own fuse.

I/P = Instrument Panel, this is the fuse / relay panel that is up under the dashboard......to the left of the driver's left foot.

Fuse 34 is driver's side (left) power window 30 amp
Fuse 40 is passenger side (right) power window 30 amp

Fuse 6 is the rear power windows 15 amp

Again, this is for my '96, other years may be different.

On my 99, the drivers side power window was not working. I took off the door panel, 5 screws (8mm). Peel back the doors insulation. Motor is towards the bottom of the door towards the hinges. There is a small "peep" hole where you will be able to see the motors gear. The screws to remove the motor were not accessible, another poster mentioned that there would be two divets around the "peep" hole. Sure enough, take a 1/2" drill bit and drill out the metal to uncover the screws holding the motor in place...there are two. There is a third screw/nut combo that also needs to be removed...for this one I just used a small socket that fit tightly onto the hex head after removing the nut. Pay careful attention to the threads to ensure that you're turning the correct direction. After these three screws have been removed, the motor should come out. There is still an electric wire harness attached to the motor if you haven't removed it yet.

My problem was, when pressing the power window in either direction on the driver side...I would just get some clicking sounds from under the dash board. I took my meter and found that I was getting 12v to the harness. So I figured the motor was bad. After removing the motor I decided to test it without any load and the motor started to spin freely in both directions. So Sprayed it with a little PB Blaster, put everything back together and the window is working just fine now.

Hardest part was getting the door panel back on...about 30-45 mins with learning curve for never taking door panel off before.

Goodluck
